Khoya Paneer

Ingredients

  • 🧀 Paneer – 250g, cubed
  • 🥛 Khoya – 100g, grated
  • 🧅 Onions – 2 medium, finely chopped
  • 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, pureed
  • 🫚 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – 1-2, slit (optional)
  • 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
  • 🧈 Butter/Ghee – 2 tbsp
  • 🥄 Cream - 2 tbsp (optional)
  • 🧂 Spices (Turmeric, Chili powder, Garam masala) - to taste

Instructions

  • 🔥 Heat butter/ghee in a pan, sauté onions until golden brown.
  • 🫚 Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, sauté for a minute.
  • 🍅 Add tomato puree and spices, cook until oil separates.
  • 🥛 Add grated khoya and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • 🧀 Gently add paneer cubes, stir well, and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Add cream if using.
  • 🌿 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or naan.
