Ingredients
- 🍚 Rice – 1 cup
- 🌱 Moong Dal – 1/2 cup
- 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomato – finely chopped
- 🌶️ Green Chili – slit
- 🫚 Ginger – grated
- 💧 Ghee – 2 tbsp
- 🌿 Coriander – for garnish
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
Instructions
- 🍚 Wash rice and dal and soak for 15 minutes.
- 🔥 Heat ghee in a pressure cooker or pot. Add onions and sauté until golden.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes, green chili, and ginger. Cook until soft.
- 🥘 Add rice, dal, salt, and water (about 4 cups). Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles or simmer until cooked.
- 🌿 Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
