Ingredients
- 🍚 Rice – 1 cup, soaked
- 🥛 Milk – 3 cups
- 🍬 Sugar – 1 cup
- 💧 Water – 1/2 cup
- 🧈 Ghee – 2 tbsp
- 🌰 Cashews & Almonds – chopped
- 🌼 Saffron strands – a pinch
- 🟢 Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat ghee, fry nuts until golden. Remove and set aside.
- 🍚 In the same ghee, sauté the rice until lightly toasted.
- 🥛 Add milk and water, bring to a boil, then simmer until rice is cooked.
- 🍬 Stir in sugar and saffron, cook until sugar dissolves.
- 🌰 Add fried nuts and cardamom powder. Serve hot or cold. ✨
