Ingredients
- 🥩 Ground meat (Keema) – 500g
- 🍚 Basmati rice – 2 cups
- 🧅 Onions – 2 medium, sliced
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, chopped
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 2-3, slit
- 🌿 Mint leaves – a handful
- 🌿 Coriander leaves – a handful
- 🥄 Biryani Masala – 2 tbsp
- 🥄 Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- 🥄 Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- 🥄 Garam masala – 1 tsp
- 💧 Yogurt – 1/2 cup
- 🥄 Ghee/Oil – 3 tbsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Sauté onions in ghee/oil until golden brown.
- 🥩 Add keema and ginger-garlic paste, cook until browned.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes, yogurt, and spices, cook until oil separates.
- 🍚 Layer rice and keema mixture in a pot.
- 💧 Add water, mint, and coriander, then cook on low heat until rice is done.
