Ingredients

  • 🥩 Cubed meat (lamb or beef) – 1 lb
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
  • 🫑 Green bell pepper – 1, sliced
  • 🍅 Tomato – 2, diced
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🌶️ Red pepper flakes – 1/2 tsp (optional)
  • 🌿 Fresh parsley – for garnish
  • 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 🔥 Heat oil in a large pan or pot. Add the meat and brown on all sides.
  • 🧅 Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.
  • 🫑 Add green bell pepper and garlic, cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • 🍅 Stir in diced tomatoes, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Add a little water if needed.
  • 🥘 Cover and simmer over low heat for about 45 minutes, or until the meat is tender. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
