Ingredients
- 🍚 Cooked rice – 2 bowls
- 🥩 Pork cutlets (tonkatsu) – 2
- 🧅 Onion – 1/2 thinly sliced
- 🥚 Eggs – 2
- 💧 Dashi or chicken broth – 1 cup
- 🍶 Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
- 🥄 Mirin – 2 tbsp
- 🌿 Green onions – for garnish
Instructions
- 🔪 Cut the tonkatsu into bite-sized pieces.
- 🧅 In a pan, simmer sliced onions in dashi, soy sauce, and mirin.
- ♨️ Add the cutlets to the pan and let them simmer.
- 🥚 Beat the eggs lightly and pour over the cutlets and onions.
- 🍚 Cover the pan and cook until the eggs are just set. Serve over rice and garnish with green onions. ✨
