Ingredients
- 🫘 Jackfruit – boiled and mashed
- 🥔 Potatoes – boiled and mashed
- 🧅 Onions – finely chopped
- 🫚 Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- 🌶️ Green chilies – finely chopped
- 🌿 Coriander leaves – chopped
- 🥣 Gram flour (besan) – for binding
- 🍅 Tomato – pureed
- 🍶 Cream - for garnish
- 🇮🇳 Indian spices – as needed
Instructions
- 🥣 Combine jackfruit, potatoes, onions, ginger-garlic paste, chilies, coriander, and gram flour. Form into small kofta balls.
- 🔥 Deep fry the kofta balls until golden brown. Set aside.
- 🧅 Sauté onions in a pan until golden. Add tomato puree and Indian spices. Cook until the gravy thickens.
- 🥘 Gently add the fried kofta balls to the gravy and simmer for 5-7 minutes, coating them well.
- 🌿 Garnish with fresh coriander and cream. Serve hot with rice or naan.
