Ingredients
- 🥣 Yogurt – 1 cup
- 🌾 Gram Flour (Besan) – 2 tbsp
- 💧 Water – 3 cups
- 🌱 Curry Leaves – 10-12
- 🌶️ Green Chilies – 2, slit
- 🫚 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
- 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
- 🌿 Coriander Leaves – for garnish
- 🟡 Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
Instructions
- 🥣 Whisk yogurt and gram flour until smooth, then add water.
- 🔥 In a pot, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
- 🧅 Add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
- 🫚 Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, sauté for a minute.
- 🟡 Add turmeric powder and pour in the yogurt mixture. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 🧂 Add salt to taste and garnish with coriander leaves before serving. Serve hot with rice or roti.
