Ingredients

  • 🌾 Maida (All-purpose flour) – 2 cups
  • 🫘 Moong dal – 1/2 cup (soaked)
  • 🌶️ Spices (cumin, coriander, chili powder) – 2 tsp
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🌿 Oil – for frying

Instructions

  • 🫘 Grind soaked moong dal with spices to make a paste.
  • 🔥 Sauté onion until golden; add dal paste and cook until dry.
  • 🌾 Make dough with maida, stuff with dal mixture, and shape into kachodis.
  • 🌿 Heat oil in a pan and deep fry kachodis until golden brown and crispy.
  • ✨ Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
