Ingredients

  • 🍚 Long grain rice – 3 cups
  • 🍗 Chicken or lamb – 1 kg
  • 🧅 Onion – chopped
  • 🍅 Tomatoes – diced
  • 🧄 Garlic – minced
  • 🌶️ Kabsa spice mix – 2 tbsp
  • 🥕 Carrots – sliced
  • 💧 Water or broth – 4 cups
  • 🥜 Nuts and raisins – for garnish

Instructions

  • 🔥 Sauté onions, garlic, and spices in a pot until fragrant.
  • 🍗 Add chicken or lamb and brown on all sides.
  • 🍅 Stir in tomatoes and cook for a few minutes.
  • 🍚 Add rice and water or broth, bring to a boil, then simmer until rice is cooked.
  • 🥜 Garnish with nuts and raisins and serve hot.
