Ingredients
- 🍚 Long grain rice – 3 cups
- 🍗 Chicken or lamb – 1 kg
- 🧅 Onion – chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – diced
- 🧄 Garlic – minced
- 🌶️ Kabsa spice mix – 2 tbsp
- 🥕 Carrots – sliced
- 💧 Water or broth – 4 cups
- 🥜 Nuts and raisins – for garnish
Instructions
- 🔥 Sauté onions, garlic, and spices in a pot until fragrant.
- 🍗 Add chicken or lamb and brown on all sides.
- 🍅 Stir in tomatoes and cook for a few minutes.
- 🍚 Add rice and water or broth, bring to a boil, then simmer until rice is cooked.
- 🥜 Garnish with nuts and raisins and serve hot.
