Ingredients

  • 🍗 Chicken thighs – 1.5 lbs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 🍶 Soy sauce – 1/4 cup
  • 🍯 Mirin – 2 tbsp
  • 🍾 Sake – 1 tbsp (optional)
  • 🍚 Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🌿 Ginger – 1 tsp, grated
  • 🥔 Potato starch – 2 tbsp
  • 🧅 Green onions – for garnish

Instructions

  • 🥣 Marinate chicken in soy sauce, mirin, sake (optional), sugar, garlic, and ginger for at least 15 minutes.
  • ✨ Coat chicken with potato starch.
  • 🔥 Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
  • 🍚 Serve hot with rice and garnish with green onions.
