Ingredients

  • 🌱 Jackfruit – canned or fresh, chopped
  • 🌾 Whole wheat flour – for phulka
  • 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
  • 🍅 Tomatoes – diced
  • 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • 🌶️ Spices – turmeric, chili powder, garam masala
  • 🌿 Cilantro – for garnish
  • 💧 Water – for dough

Instructions

  • 🔥 Prepare jackfruit curry: Sauté onions, add ginger-garlic paste, and tomatoes.
  • 🌶️ Add spices and jackfruit. Simmer until jackfruit is tender and flavors combine.
  • 🌾 Prepare phulka dough with whole wheat flour and water.
  • 🔥 Roll out phulkas and cook on a hot pan until puffed up.
  • 🌿 Garnish jackfruit curry with cilantro and serve hot with phulkas.
