Ingredients
- 🫘 Tamarind (Imli) – 1 cup soaked
- 💧 Water – 4 cups
- 🌱 Coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 2-3 slit
- 🌰 Jaggery – to taste
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🥄 Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- 🌿 Curry leaves – 8-10
- 🌻 Oil – 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 💧 Soak tamarind in warm water and extract the pulp.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and curry leaves.
- 🌶️ Add green chilies and tamarind pulp.
- 🌰 Add jaggery, salt, and simmer until the khatta thickens.
- 🌿 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve warm or chilled.
