Ingredients
- 🍚 Idly rice – for soft idlis
- ⚫ Urad dal – for fluffy vadas
- 🧅 Onions – chopped for sambar
- 🥕 Mixed vegetables – for sambar
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – for flavor
- 🍅 Tomatoes – for sambar
- 🌿 Curry leaves – for seasoning
- 🌶️ Sambar powder – for authentic taste
Instructions
- 🥣 Prepare idly and vada batter separately and let them ferment.
- ♨️ Steam idlis until fluffy, and deep-fry vadas until golden brown.
- 🔥 Sauté vegetables for sambar and then add tamarind extract.
- 🌶️ Add sambar powder and cook until the raw smell disappears.
- 🍲 Serve idly and vada with hot sambar and garnish with coriander.
