Ingredients
- 🍚 Basmati Rice – soaked
- 🐔 Chicken or 🐑 Mutton – marinated
- 🧅 Onions – fried golden brown
- 🌿 Mint Leaves – fresh
- 🌶️ Green Chillies – slit
- 🍋 Lemon – juiced
- 🥄 Biryani Masala – store-bought or homemade
- 🍶 Ghee – for layering
Instructions
- 🍚 Layer rice, marinated meat, fried onions, mint, and spices in a heavy-bottomed pot.
- 🍶 Drizzle ghee over each layer for richness.
- 💧 Add a little water or stock; seal the pot tightly with dough (dum).
- 🔥 Cook on low heat until the rice is fluffy and the meat is tender.
- ✨ Garnish with coriander and serve hot with raita.
