  • 🧅 Onions – fried golden brown

  • 🍋 Lemon – juiced
  • 🥄 Biryani Masala – store-bought or homemade
  • 🍶 Ghee – for layering

Instructions

  • 🍚 Layer rice, marinated meat, fried onions, mint, and spices in a heavy-bottomed pot.
  • 🍶 Drizzle ghee over each layer for richness.
  • 💧 Add a little water or stock; seal the pot tightly with dough (dum).
  • 🔥 Cook on low heat until the rice is fluffy and the meat is tender.
  • ✨ Garnish with coriander and serve hot with raita.
