Ingredients

  • 🥛 Hokkaido Milk – 2 cups
  • 🍦 Heavy Cream – 1 cup
  • 🥚 Egg Yolks – 4 large
  • 🍚 Sugar – ¾ cup
  • 🌱 Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp

Instructions

  • 🔥 Gently heat milk and cream in a saucepan.
  • 🥚 Whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and thick.
  • 🌡️ Temper the egg mixture with warm milk mixture.
  • 🥄 Return to saucepan and cook until custard thickens slightly.
  • ❄️ Chill completely, then churn in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions.
