Ingredients
- 🍗 Chicken pieces – 1.5 lbs
- 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- 🌿 Fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, rosemary) – 2 tbsp, chopped
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🌶️ Black pepper – to taste
- 🥛 Buttermilk – 1 cup
- 🌾 All-purpose flour – 1 cup
- ⭐ Paprika – 1 tsp
- 🧅 Garlic powder – 1 tsp
- 🛢️ Cooking oil – for frying
Instructions
- 🥣 Marinate chicken in buttermilk, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- 🥣 In a separate bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- 🍗 Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture, ensuring it's fully coated.
- 🔥 Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- ♨️ Carefully place chicken pieces in the hot oil and fry for 6-8 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- ♨️ Remove chicken from skillet and place on a wire rack to drain excess oil. Serve hot and enjoy!
