Ingredients

  • 🍗 Chicken pieces – 1.5 lbs
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • 🌿 Fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, rosemary) – 2 tbsp, chopped
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🌶️ Black pepper – to taste
  • 🥛 Buttermilk – 1 cup
  • 🌾 All-purpose flour – 1 cup
  • ⭐ Paprika – 1 tsp
  • 🧅 Garlic powder – 1 tsp
  • 🛢️ Cooking oil – for frying

Instructions

  • 🥣 Marinate chicken in buttermilk, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  • 🥣 In a separate bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • 🍗 Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture, ensuring it's fully coated.
  • 🔥 Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • ♨️ Carefully place chicken pieces in the hot oil and fry for 6-8 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • ♨️ Remove chicken from skillet and place on a wire rack to drain excess oil. Serve hot and enjoy!
