Ingredients

  • 🌾 Semolina flour – 1 cup
  • 🧈 Butter or ghee – 1/2 cup
  • 💧 Water – 2 cups
  • sugar – 1 cup
  • 🥜 Nuts (almonds, pistachios) – for garnish
  • 🥄 Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  • 🔥 Melt butter in a pan, add semolina and roast until golden brown.
  • 💧 In a separate pan, boil water and sugar to make a syrup.
  • Pour the syrup slowly into the roasted semolina, stirring continuously.
  • 🥄 Add cardamom powder and mix well until the helva thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
  • 🥜 Garnish with nuts and serve warm.
