Ingredients
- 🌾 Semolina flour – 1 cup
- 🧈 Butter or ghee – 1/2 cup
- 💧 Water – 2 cups
- sugar – 1 cup
- 🥜 Nuts (almonds, pistachios) – for garnish
- 🥄 Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Melt butter in a pan, add semolina and roast until golden brown.
- 💧 In a separate pan, boil water and sugar to make a syrup.
- Pour the syrup slowly into the roasted semolina, stirring continuously.
- 🥄 Add cardamom powder and mix well until the helva thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
- 🥜 Garnish with nuts and serve warm.
