Ingredients
- 🌾 Wheat – 1 cup
- 🥩 Meat (goat/beef/chicken) – 1 lb
- 🧅 Onions – 2 large, sliced
- 🫘 Lentils (various) – 1 cup
- 🌿 Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 2-3, chopped
- 🍋 Lemon – for garnish
- 🌿 Fresh cilantro – for garnish
- 🥄 Spices (turmeric, chili powder, garam masala) – to taste
Instructions
- 🌾 Soak wheat and lentils overnight.
- 🥩 Cook meat with ginger-garlic paste and spices until tender.
- 🧅 Sauté onions until golden brown.
- 🥘 Combine all ingredients in a pot, add water, and simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally until it reaches a porridge-like consistency.
- ✨ Garnish with fried onions, cilantro, green chilies, and lemon wedges. Serve hot.
