Ingredients

  • 🌾 Wheat – 1 cup
  • 🥩 Meat (goat/beef/chicken) – 1 lb
  • 🧅 Onions – 2 large, sliced
  • 🫘 Lentils (various) – 1 cup
  • 🌿 Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – 2-3, chopped
  • 🍋 Lemon – for garnish
  • 🌿 Fresh cilantro – for garnish
  • 🥄 Spices (turmeric, chili powder, garam masala) – to taste

Instructions

  • 🌾 Soak wheat and lentils overnight.
  • 🥩 Cook meat with ginger-garlic paste and spices until tender.
  • 🧅 Sauté onions until golden brown.
  • 🥘 Combine all ingredients in a pot, add water, and simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally until it reaches a porridge-like consistency.
  • ✨ Garnish with fried onions, cilantro, green chilies, and lemon wedges. Serve hot.
