Ingredients

  • 💧 Filtered water – 200ml
  • 🌿 Gyokuro tea leaves – 5g
  • 🌡️ Water thermometer – for accuracy

Instructions

  • 💧 Heat water to around 50-60°C (122-140°F).
  • 🍵 Place gyokuro tea leaves in a teapot or kyusu.
  • 🌡️ Pour the heated water over the leaves.
  • ⏳ Steep for about 2 minutes.
  • 🍵 Pour and enjoy the rich umami flavor.
