Ingredients
- 🍗 Chicken – 1 lb, cut into pieces
- 🌶️ Guntur Chilies – 8-10, or to taste
- 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
- 🌿 Curry Leaves – 1 sprig
- 🍋 Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🥄 Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
- 🥄 Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
- 🥄 Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
- 🥄 Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- 🌿 Cilantro – for garnish
Instructions
- 🌶️ Grind Guntur chilies into a fine paste. Marinate chicken with chili paste, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, salt, and lemon juice. Let it rest for 30 mins.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan. Add curry leaves and chopped onions. Sauté until golden brown.
- 🥘 Add the marinated chicken and cook on medium heat until it browns.
- 🥄 Add red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the spices are well blended.
- 🌿 Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or roti.
