Ingredients
- 🌿 Spinach – 1 cup, finely chopped
- 🌱 Cilantro – 1/4 cup, finely chopped
- 🌾 Whole wheat flour – 2 cups
- 💧 Water – as needed
- 🧅 Onion – 1 small, finely chopped
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 1-2, finely chopped (optional)
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🥄 Oil – for cooking
Instructions
- 🌿 Blend spinach and cilantro with a little water to form a smooth green paste.
- 🌾 In a bowl, mix whole wheat flour, green paste, chopped onion, green chilies (if using), and salt.
- 💧 Add water gradually to form a soft, pliable dough.
- ⏲️ Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
- 🔥 Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a thin flatbread.
- 🍳 Heat a flat pan or griddle. Cook each flatbread over medium heat, applying a little oil until golden brown on both sides.
