Ingredients
- ☕ Espresso – strong brewed
- 🥮 Ladyfingers – enough to cover dish
- 🧀 Mascarpone – creamy Italian cheese
- 🥚 Eggs – separated
- 🍬 Sugar – granulated
- 🍫 Cocoa powder – for dusting
Instructions
- ☕ Brew strong espresso and let cool.
- 🥚 Whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and thick; gently fold in mascarpone.
- ☁️ In a separate bowl, whisk egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the mascarpone mixture.
- 🥮 Dip ladyfingers in espresso and layer in a large dish, alternating with the mascarpone cream.
- 🍫 Dust generously with cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
