Ingredients

  • ☕ Espresso – strong brewed
  • 🥮 Ladyfingers – enough to cover dish
  • 🧀 Mascarpone – creamy Italian cheese
  • 🥚 Eggs – separated
  • 🍬 Sugar – granulated
  • 🍫 Cocoa powder – for dusting

Instructions

  • ☕ Brew strong espresso and let cool.
  • 🥚 Whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and thick; gently fold in mascarpone.
  • ☁️ In a separate bowl, whisk egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the mascarpone mixture.
  • 🥮 Dip ladyfingers in espresso and layer in a large dish, alternating with the mascarpone cream.
  • 🍫 Dust generously with cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
