Ingredients
- 🫘 Dried white peas – 1 cup, soaked overnight
- 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
- 🍅 Tomato – 1 medium, chopped
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 1-2, chopped (adjust to taste)
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🍋 Lemon juice – for serving
Instructions
- 🥘 Boil the soaked peas with salt until soft.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan, add onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 🍅 Add tomato, ginger-garlic paste, and green chilies. Cook until the tomatoes soften.
- 🧂 Add spices (turmeric, cumin, coriander powder) and sauté for a minute.
- 🫘 Add boiled peas, mix well, and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with lemon juice.
