Ingredients
- 🥔 Potatoes – 1 kg, peeled and cubed
- 🥩 Beef – 500g, stewing cuts
- 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
- 🌿 Bay leaf – 1-2
- 🌶️ Smoked Paprika – 1 tbsp
- 💧 Olive Oil – 2 tbsp
- 🧂 Salt & Pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven. Brown the beef on all sides.
- 🧅 Add chopped onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened.
- 🥔 Add the potatoes, smoked paprika, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- 💧 Add enough water or beef broth to cover the ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 45 minutes, or until the beef and potatoes are tender.
- 🥄 Check seasoning and adjust if necessary. Serve hot.
