Ingredients
- 1 lb Squid tubes and tentacles, cleaned 🦑
- 1 cup All-purpose flour 🍚
- 1 tsp Salt 🧂
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper 🌶️
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder 🧄
- 1/4 tsp Paprika ♨️
- 1/2 cup Milk 🥛
- 1 Lemon, cut into wedges 🍋
- Vegetable oil, for frying 🛢️
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. 🥣
- In another bowl, soak the squid in milk. 🥛
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). 🔥
- Dredge the squid in the flour mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. ⬆️
- Carefully add the squid to the hot oil in batches, avoiding overcrowding. ♨️
- Fry for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. 🍳
- Remove the squid with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. 🥄
