Ingredients

  • 1 lb Squid tubes and tentacles, cleaned 🦑
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour 🍚
  • 1 tsp Salt 🧂
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper 🌶️
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder 🧄
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika ♨️
  • 1/2 cup Milk 🥛
  • 1 Lemon, cut into wedges 🍋
  • Vegetable oil, for frying 🛢️

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. 🥣
  • In another bowl, soak the squid in milk. 🥛
  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). 🔥
  • Dredge the squid in the flour mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. ⬆️
  • Carefully add the squid to the hot oil in batches, avoiding overcrowding. ♨️
  • Fry for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. 🍳
  • Remove the squid with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. 🥄
  • Serve immediately with lemon wedges. 🍋 Enjoy!😋
