Ingredients

  • 🦆 Foie gras – whole lobe
  • 🍷 Sauternes – 1/4 cup
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • ✨ Pepper – to taste
  • 🌿 Thyme – sprig
  • 🍞 Bread - for serving

Instructions

  • 🔪 Devein the foie gras carefully.
  • 🍷 Marinate foie gras with Sauternes, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  • 🌡️ Pack foie gras into a terrine mold.
  • ♨️ Cook in a water bath (bain-marie) at low temperature until the internal temperature reaches 120°F.
  • ❄️ Chill thoroughly for at least 24 hours before serving with bread.
