Ingredients
- 🦆 Foie gras – whole lobe
- 🍷 Sauternes – 1/4 cup
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- ✨ Pepper – to taste
- 🌿 Thyme – sprig
- 🍞 Bread - for serving
Instructions
- 🔪 Devein the foie gras carefully.
- 🍷 Marinate foie gras with Sauternes, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- 🌡️ Pack foie gras into a terrine mold.
- ♨️ Cook in a water bath (bain-marie) at low temperature until the internal temperature reaches 120°F.
- ❄️ Chill thoroughly for at least 24 hours before serving with bread.
