Ingredients
- 🐟 Fish fillets – 2 (e.g., pomfret or seer fish)
- 🧅 Onions – finely sliced
- 🧄 Garlic – minced
- 🌶️ Green chilies – slit
- 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- 🌿 Curry leaves – a sprig
- 🍌 Banana leaf – for wrapping
- 🥥 Coconut oil – for cooking
Instructions
- 🔪 Marinate fish with spices, lemon juice, and salt.
- 🔥 Sauté onions, garlic, and green chilies in coconut oil.
- 🌿 Add curry leaves and cook until fragrant.
- 🍃 Place marinated fish on banana leaf, cover with sautéed mixture, and wrap tightly.
- ♨️ Cook on a tawa or pan until the banana leaf is slightly charred and the fish is cooked through.
