Ingredients
- 🐟 Fish – 1 lb, cut into pieces
- 🍚 Basmati Rice – 2 cups
- 🧅 Onions – 2 medium, sliced
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, chopped
- 🌿 Mint Leaves – handful
- 🌶️ Green Chilies – 2-3, slit
- 🍋 Lemon – 1, juiced
- 🍶 Yogurt – 1/2 cup
- 🥄 Biryani Masala – 2 tbsp
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 🍚 Soak rice for 30 minutes. Cook separately until 70% done.
- 🧅 Fry onions until golden brown. Keep aside some for garnish.
- 🐟 Marinate fish with ginger-garlic paste, yogurt, lemon juice, and biryani masala.
- 🥘 In a pot, layer rice, fish, fried onions, mint, and tomatoes. Repeat layers.
- 🔥 Cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes until fish is cooked and rice is tender. Garnish with remaining fried onions.
