Ingredients
- 🥟 Khasta Kachori – store-bought or homemade crispy lentil pastries
- 🟡 Dried yellow peas – soaked overnight and boiled
- 🍯 Tamarind chutney – for a sweet and tangy kick
- 🫚 Ginger – thinly julienned for garnish
- 🌶️ Green chilies – finely chopped for heat
- 🧂 Chaat masala & Cumin powder – for seasoning
Instructions
- 🔥 Boil the soaked yellow peas with salt and turmeric until soft but holding their shape.
- 🥣 Mix the boiled peas with roasted cumin, chaat masala, and a splash of tamarind water.
- 🍽️ Place two crispy kachoris on a plate and lightly crush the centers with your thumb.
- 🥄 Generously ladle the spiced pea mixture over the crushed kachoris.
- ✨ Top with sweet chutney, ginger juliennes, and fresh coriander before serving immediately.
