Ingredients

  • 500g Chicken pieces 🍗
  • 2 large Onions, finely chopped 🧅
  • 2 Tomatoes, finely chopped 🍅
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste 🧄
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder 💛
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder 🌶️
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 2 tbsp Oil 🫒
  • Salt to taste 🧂
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish 🌿

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. 🔥
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. ⏰
  • Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften. 🍅
  • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and garam masala. Sauté for a minute. 🌶️💛
  • Add chicken pieces and salt. Cook until the chicken is browned. 🍗
  • Add 1 cup of water and cover the pan. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. 💧
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. 🌿
  • Serve hot with rice or roti. 🍚
