Ingredients
- 500g Chicken pieces 🍗
- 2 large Onions, finely chopped 🧅
- 2 Tomatoes, finely chopped 🍅
- 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste 🧄
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder 💛
- 1 tsp Red chili powder 🌶️
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- 2 tbsp Oil 🫒
- Salt to taste 🧂
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish 🌿
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. 🔥
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. ⏰
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften. 🍅
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and garam masala. Sauté for a minute. 🌶️💛
- Add chicken pieces and salt. Cook until the chicken is browned. 🍗
- Add 1 cup of water and cover the pan. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. 💧
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. 🌿
- Serve hot with rice or roti. 🍚
