Ingredients
- 🍠 Sweet Potatoes – large, firm, and orange-fleshed
- 💧 Water – enough for steaming
- 🧂 Salt – a pinch (optional for soaking)
Instructions
- 🍠 Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly and steam them whole until tender.
- 🔪 Peel the skin off while they are still warm and slice into thick strips.
- 🌡️ Arrange the slices in a single layer on a baking sheet or dehydrator rack.
- ⏳ Bake at a very low temperature (around 150°F / 65°C) for 5-7 hours.
- ✨ Remove once they are chewy and dry, then let them cool before eating.
