Ingredients
- 🍚 Rice - 2 cups
- 🫘 Lentils - 1 cup
- 🥕 Mixed Vegetables - 1 cup (carrots, beans, peas)
- 🧅 Onion - 1 medium, chopped
- 🍅 Tomato - 1 medium, chopped
- 🌿 Spices - Turmeric, cumin, coriander powder
Instructions
- 🥣 Rinse rice and lentils together.
- 🧅 Sauté onions until golden brown, then add tomatoes and spices. 🔥
- 🥕 Add mixed vegetables and cook for a few minutes. 🥘
- 🍚 Add rice and lentils, then add water (about 4 cups). Bring to a boil and then simmer. ♨️
- 🥄 Cook until rice and lentils are soft and the water is absorbed. Serve hot. ✨
