Ingredients

  • 🍚 Rice - 2 cups
  • 🫘 Lentils - 1 cup
  • 🥕 Mixed Vegetables - 1 cup (carrots, beans, peas)
  • 🧅 Onion - 1 medium, chopped
  • 🍅 Tomato - 1 medium, chopped
  • 🌿 Spices - Turmeric, cumin, coriander powder

Instructions

  • 🥣 Rinse rice and lentils together.
  • 🧅 Sauté onions until golden brown, then add tomatoes and spices. 🔥
  • 🥕 Add mixed vegetables and cook for a few minutes. 🥘
  • 🍚 Add rice and lentils, then add water (about 4 cups). Bring to a boil and then simmer. ♨️
  • 🥄 Cook until rice and lentils are soft and the water is absorbed. Serve hot. ✨
