Dhansak with Bhagara Rice

Ingredients
- 🍖 Mutton or Chicken – 500g
- 🧅 Onions – 2 large, chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, pureed
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
- 🌿 Dhansak Masala – 4 tbsp
- 🥔 Mixed Vegetables (Pumpkin, Potatoes, etc.) – 2 cups
- 🍚 Lentils (Toor, Chana, Masoor) – 1 cup
- 🍋 Lemon Juice – 2 tbsp
- 🍚 Basmati Rice – 2 cups (for Bhagara Rice)
- 🌿 Whole Spices (Cumin, Cloves, Bay Leaves) – for Bhagara Rice
Instructions
- 🍚 Cook lentils until soft. Pressure cook meat with ginger-garlic paste and Dhansak masala.
- 🧅 Sauté onions until golden. Add tomatoes and cook well.
- 🥘 Add cooked meat, lentils, and mixed vegetables. Simmer until vegetables are tender.
- 🍋 Finish with lemon juice and garnish with coriander.
- 🌿 For Bhagara Rice: Sauté whole spices in oil, add rice and water, cook until done. Serve Dhansak with Bhagara Rice.
