Ingredients
- 🥣 Lentils (Dal) – 1 cup
- 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 1-2, chopped
- 🌿 Cilantro – for garnish
- 🫘 Spices – cumin, turmeric, coriander
Instructions
- 🥣 Rinse lentils thoroughly and soak for 30 minutes.
- 🔥 Sauté onions, garlic, and chilies in a pot until golden.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes and spices, cook until softened.
- 🥘 Add lentils and water, bring to a boil, then simmer until cooked.
- 🌿 Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with rice or roti.
