Ingredients

  • 🌾 All-purpose flour – for the outer layer
  • 🫘 Moong dal – soaked and ground
  • 🫚 Ginger – a small piece, grated
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – finely chopped
  • 🌿 Spices – coriander, cumin, chili powder
  • 💧 Oil – for deep frying
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste

Instructions

  • 🥣 Prepare the dough and filling separately.
  • 🔥 Heat oil in a deep pan for frying.
  • 🥟 Stuff the dough with the dal mixture and shape into kachoris.
  • ♨️ Gently slide kachoris into hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  • 🍽️ Serve hot with chutney or yogurt.
