Ingredients

  • 🥩 Gosht (Mutton/Lamb) – cubed
  • 🥣 Dal (Lentils) – mixed or single type
  • 🧅 Onions – chopped
  • 🍅 Tomatoes – diced
  • 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – fresh
  • 🌶️ Green Chilies – slit
  • 🌿 Coriander Leaves – for garnish
  • 🧂 Spices – turmeric, chili powder, cumin, coriander powder

Instructions

  • 🥣 Soak dal for 30 minutes. Pressure cook gosht with ginger-garlic paste, salt, and turmeric until tender.
  • 🧅 Sauté onions until golden. Add tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, and green chilies. Cook until the oil separates.
  • 🌶️ Add spices and cook for a few minutes. Add cooked gosht and sauté for 5 minutes.
  • 🥘 Add soaked dal and enough water. Pressure cook until dal is soft and well blended.
  • 🌿 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
