Ingredients
- 🍚 Rice – 1 cup
- 💛 Yellow lentils (Dal) – 1 cup
- 🧅 Onion – chopped
- 🍅 Tomato – chopped
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 1-2, chopped
- 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
- 💧 Water – as needed
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🥄 Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- 🍚 Wash rice and cook with water until soft.
- 💛 Cook dal with turmeric, salt and water until soft.
- 🔥 Sauté onions, ginger-garlic paste, and green chilies in oil.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes and spices, cook until oil separates.
- 🥘 Mix cooked dal with the tomato mixture, simmer for 5 mins. Serve hot with rice and garnish with coriander.✨
