Ingredients

  • 🖤 Black Lentils (Urad Dal) – 1 cup
  • 🫘 Kidney Beans (Rajma) – 1/4 cup
  • 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
  • 🍅 Tomatoes – pureed
  • 🧄 Ginger-Garlic paste – 2 tbsp
  • 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
  • 🥛 Cream – 2 tbsp
  • 🌶️ Red Chili powder – 1 tsp
  • 🌿 Dried Fenugreek Leaves (Kasuri Methi) – 1 tsp
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste

Instructions

  • 🥣 Soak lentils and kidney beans overnight.
  • 🍲 Pressure cook lentils and beans until soft.
  • 🔥 Sauté onions, ginger-garlic paste until golden.
  • 🍅 Add tomato puree and spices, cook until oil separates.
  • 🥘 Mix cooked lentils and beans, simmer for 30 mins on low heat, stirring occasionally.
  • 🧈 Add butter, cream, and kasuri methi. Simmer for 5 mins.
  • 🍚 Serve hot with rice or naan.
