Ingredients
- 🖤 Black Lentils (Urad Dal) – 1 cup
- 🫘 Kidney Beans (Rajma) – 1/4 cup
- 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – pureed
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
- 🥛 Cream – 2 tbsp
- 🌶️ Red Chili powder – 1 tsp
- 🌿 Dried Fenugreek Leaves (Kasuri Methi) – 1 tsp
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
Instructions
- 🥣 Soak lentils and kidney beans overnight.
- 🍲 Pressure cook lentils and beans until soft.
- 🔥 Sauté onions, ginger-garlic paste until golden.
- 🍅 Add tomato puree and spices, cook until oil separates.
- 🥘 Mix cooked lentils and beans, simmer for 30 mins on low heat, stirring occasionally.
- 🧈 Add butter, cream, and kasuri methi. Simmer for 5 mins.
- 🍚 Serve hot with rice or naan.
