Ingredients

  • 🥐 Cruffins – 6 baked cruffins
  • 🥛 Heavy Cream – 2 cups
  • 🥚 Egg Yolks – 6 large
  • 🍬 Sugar – 1/2 cup + more for brûléeing
  • 🍦 Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp

Instructions

  • 🔥 Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Warm the cream in a saucepan.
  • 🥣 Whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale. Gradually whisk in warm cream and vanilla.
  • 🥐 Cut a hole in the top of each cruffin and fill with crème brûlée mixture.
  • 🛁 Place cruffins in a baking dish, add hot water to come halfway up sides, and bake for 20-25 mins.
  • ❄️ Cool completely, then sprinkle sugar on top and brûlée with a torch until golden brown.
