Ingredients
- 🦀 Crab – cleaned and cut
- 🧅 Onions – finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – pureed
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- 🌶️ Green chilies – slit
- 🌿 Curry leaves – a few
- 🥥 Coconut milk – 1 cup
- 🥄 Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- 🥄 Red chili powder – 2 tsp
- 🥄 Coriander powder – 2 tsp
- 🥄 Garam masala – 1 tsp
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🌻 Oil – for cooking
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan and add onions, green chilies, and curry leaves. Sauté until golden brown.
- 🧄 Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
- 🍅 Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
- 🥄 Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Sauté for a minute.
- 🦀 Add the crab pieces and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes.
- 🥥 Add coconut milk and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the crab is cooked through.
- 🌿 Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice or naan.
