Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour 🍚
- 1/4 teaspoon salt 🧂
- 2 large eggs 🥚
- 1 1/4 cups milk 🥛
- 2 tablespoons melted butter 🧈, plus more for cooking
- Optional: 1 tablespoon sugar 🍬, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 🍦
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt. 🥣
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. 🥚🥛
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, whisking until smooth. Avoid overmixing! 🥄
- Stir in melted butter (and optional sugar and vanilla extract). 🧈
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat. 🔥
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot surface for each crêpe. 🥞
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Flip carefully! 🔄
