Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour 🍚
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt 🧂
  • 2 large eggs 🥚
  • 1 1/4 cups milk 🥛
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter 🧈, plus more for cooking
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon sugar 🍬, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 🍦

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt. 🥣
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. 🥚🥛
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, whisking until smooth. Avoid overmixing! 🥄
  • Stir in melted butter (and optional sugar and vanilla extract). 🧈
  • Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat. 🔥
  • Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot surface for each crêpe. 🥞
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Flip carefully! 🔄
