Ingredients
- 🌾 All-purpose flour – 4 cups
- 🍚 Sugar – 1 cup
- 🧈 Butter – 1 cup softened
- 🥚 Eggs – 2 large
- yeast – 2 1/4 tsp
- 🥛 Milk – 1/2 cup warm
- 🧂 Salt – 1 tsp
Instructions
- 🥛 Activate yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 mins.
- 🌾 In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, softened butter, and eggs. Add the yeast mixture.
- knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- 🐚 Divide the dough into equal parts and shape them into concha shapes. Make the topping with flour, sugar and shortening and press on top.
- 🔥 Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 mins, or until golden brown.
