Ingredients

  • 🌾 All-purpose flour – 4 cups
  • 🍚 Sugar – 1 cup
  • 🧈 Butter – 1 cup softened
  • 🥚 Eggs – 2 large
  • yeast – 2 1/4 tsp
  • 🥛 Milk – 1/2 cup warm
  • 🧂 Salt – 1 tsp

Instructions

  • 🥛 Activate yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 mins.
  • 🌾 In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, softened butter, and eggs. Add the yeast mixture.
  • knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  • 🐚 Divide the dough into equal parts and shape them into concha shapes. Make the topping with flour, sugar and shortening and press on top.
  • 🔥 Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 mins, or until golden brown.
