Ingredients

  • 💧 Water – 1.5 cups
  • 🪵 Whole Cloves – 3-4 pods
  • 🍯 Honey – 1 tsp (optional for sweetness)
  • 🍋 Lemon – 1 small slice
  • 🫚 Ginger – small piece, crushed

Instructions

  • 💧 Bring water to a rolling boil in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  • 🪵 Add the whole cloves and crushed ginger to the boiling water.
  • 🔥 Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5–7 minutes to extract the spice oils.
  • ☕ Strain the tea into a cup and discard the solids.
  • ✨ Stir in honey and a squeeze of lemon before serving warm.
