Ingredients
- 🐟 Chonak Fish – 2 fillets
- 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – diced
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🌶️ Green chilies – slit
- 🍋 Lemon – 1/2, juiced
- 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🥄 Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- 🥄 Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- 🥄 Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown.
- 🧄 Add garlic and green chilies, sauté for a minute.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes and cook until softened.
- 🥄 Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder and salt. Sauté for 2 minutes.
- 🐟 Place the fish fillets in the pan. Cook covered for 10-12 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
- 🍋 Squeeze lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice.
