Ingredients

  • 🐟 Chonak Fish – 2 fillets
  • 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
  • 🍅 Tomatoes – diced
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – slit
  • 🍋 Lemon – 1/2, juiced
  • 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
  • 🥄 Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  • 🥄 Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  • 🥄 Cumin powder – 1 tsp

Instructions

  • 🔥 Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown.
  • 🧄 Add garlic and green chilies, sauté for a minute.
  • 🍅 Add tomatoes and cook until softened.
  • 🥄 Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder and salt. Sauté for 2 minutes.
  • 🐟 Place the fish fillets in the pan. Cook covered for 10-12 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
  • 🍋 Squeeze lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice.
