Ingredients
- 🫘 Chickpeas (chola) – soaked overnight
- 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – pureed
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- 🌶️ Spices (cumin, coriander, chili powder) – as needed
- 🌾 All-purpose flour (maida) – for bhature
- 🍶 Yogurt – for bhature dough
- 🛢️ Oil – for frying
Instructions
- 🥘 Cook chickpeas with spices until tender.
- 🔥 Sauté onions, ginger-garlic paste, and tomatoes in oil.
- 🌶️ Add cooked chickpeas to the tomato mixture and simmer.
- 🥖 Prepare bhature dough and deep fry until golden brown.
- 🍽️ Serve hot chola with bhature.
