Ingredients

  • 🍌 Ripe Bananas – 3 large, mashed
  • 🍫 Chocolate Chips – 1/2 cup dark or milk
  • 🥜 Pecans – 1/2 cup, roughly chopped
  • 🌾 All-purpose Flour – 1.5 cups
  • 🧈 Butter – 1/2 cup, melted
  • 🥚 Eggs – 2 large, room temperature
  • 🍬 Sugar – 3/4 cup brown or white
  • 🧂 Baking Powder – 1 tsp

Instructions

  • 🥣 Mash the bananas in a large bowl and whisk in the melted butter, eggs, and sugar.
  • 🍫 Gently fold in the flour and baking powder, then stir in the chocolate chips and pecans.
  • 🥘 Pour the batter into a greased cake tin or loaf pan and level the surface.
  • 🔥 Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 45 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
  • ✨ Allow the cake to cool in the pan for ten minutes before slicing to serve.
