Ingredients
- 🍌 Ripe Bananas – 3 large, mashed
- 🍫 Chocolate Chips – 1/2 cup dark or milk
- 🥜 Pecans – 1/2 cup, roughly chopped
- 🌾 All-purpose Flour – 1.5 cups
- 🧈 Butter – 1/2 cup, melted
- 🥚 Eggs – 2 large, room temperature
- 🍬 Sugar – 3/4 cup brown or white
- 🧂 Baking Powder – 1 tsp
Instructions
- 🥣 Mash the bananas in a large bowl and whisk in the melted butter, eggs, and sugar.
- 🍫 Gently fold in the flour and baking powder, then stir in the chocolate chips and pecans.
- 🥘 Pour the batter into a greased cake tin or loaf pan and level the surface.
- 🔥 Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 45 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
- ✨ Allow the cake to cool in the pan for ten minutes before slicing to serve.
