Ingredients
- 🍚 Small grain rice (Chittimutyalu) - 1 cup
- 🥕 Mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, beans) - 1 cup
- 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
- 🍅 Tomato – 1 medium, chopped
- 🫚 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- 🌿 Fresh coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🌶️ Green chilies - 2, slit
Instructions
- 🍚 Wash and soak rice for 30 mins.
- 🔥 Heat oil/ghee in a pressure cooker or pot; add spices.
- 🧅 Sauté onions, ginger-garlic paste, and green chilies until golden.
- 🥕 Add veggies and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- 🍚 Add rice and water (2 cups); pressure cook or simmer until rice is cooked.
- 🌿 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
