Ingredients

  • 🍚 Small grain rice (Chittimutyalu) - 1 cup
  • 🥕 Mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, beans) - 1 cup
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🍅 Tomato – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🫚 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • 🌿 Fresh coriander leaves – for garnish
  • 🌶️ Green chilies - 2, slit

Instructions

  • 🍚 Wash and soak rice for 30 mins.
  • 🔥 Heat oil/ghee in a pressure cooker or pot; add spices.
  • 🧅 Sauté onions, ginger-garlic paste, and green chilies until golden.
  • 🥕 Add veggies and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  • 🍚 Add rice and water (2 cups); pressure cook or simmer until rice is cooked.
  • 🌿 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
