Ingredients
- 🍚 Rice – basmati, soaked
- 🐔 Chicken – cut into pieces
- 🧅 Onions – finely sliced
- 🌿 Mint leaves – chopped
- 🌶️ Green chilies – slit
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- 💧 Oil – for cooking
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- ✨ Spices – garam masala, turmeric, chili powder
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pot, add onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 🧄 Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies; sauté for a minute.
- 🐔 Add chicken pieces and cook until browned.
- 🍚 Add rice and spices; sauté for a few minutes.
- 💧 Add water (as needed for pulao), salt, and lemon juice; bring to a boil, then simmer until rice is cooked and water is absorbed.
- 🌿 Garnish with mint leaves and serve hot.
