Ingredients

  • 🍚 Rice – basmati, soaked
  • 🐔 Chicken – cut into pieces
  • 🧅 Onions – finely sliced
  • 🌿 Mint leaves – chopped
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – slit
  • 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
  • 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • 💧 Oil – for cooking
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • ✨ Spices – garam masala, turmeric, chili powder

Instructions

  • 🔥 Heat oil in a pot, add onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • 🧄 Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies; sauté for a minute.
  • 🐔 Add chicken pieces and cook until browned.
  • 🍚 Add rice and spices; sauté for a few minutes.
  • 💧 Add water (as needed for pulao), salt, and lemon juice; bring to a boil, then simmer until rice is cooked and water is absorbed.
  • 🌿 Garnish with mint leaves and serve hot.
