Ingredients
- 🥟 Dim sum wrappers – 24 pieces
- 🌶️ Chilli flakes – 1 tsp (adjust to taste)
- 🧀 Cream cheese – 4 oz, softened
- 🌰 Water chestnuts – 1/2 cup, finely chopped
- 🌿 Spring onions – 2 tbsp, finely chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 1 clove, minced
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- ⚫ Black pepper – to taste
- 🍚 Cornstarch – for dusting
Instructions
- 🥣 In a bowl, mix cream cheese, chopped water chestnuts, chilli flakes, spring onions, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- 🥟 Place a small amount of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each dim sum wrapper.
- 💧 Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold to form dim sums. You can pleat the edges or simply fold in half to make a half-moon shape.
- ♨️ Steam the dim sums for about 10-12 minutes, or until the wrappers are translucent and the filling is heated through.
- 🥢 Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce (optional).
